I think Hillary needs to bow out gracefully before she messes things up even more for the democrats. I’m all for not giving up and if at first you don’t succeed, try try again, but there also does come a time where it’s impossible for your goal to be reached and you must decide to back down and regroup. Now is that time for Hillary. Hillary is right when she says that people want change, but she forgets that she is not change. She is basing her experience on the fact that she spent 8 years in the White House already. That means we’ll have more of the same??? I think people want something completely different, not just different from Bush.
I know I’m completely tired of politics in general. I’m tired of politicians saying one thing and doing another. I’m tired of all the games and the name calling and the different standards for different people. I’m tired of them spending millions campaigning while kids have no health care. Why doesn’t Hillary take the 6.5 mil she “loaned” herself and give it to charity??? It would have been better used that way. I’m tired of them creating programs like “No Child Left Behind” and not thnking about how that will really affect the kids and schools. Then patting themselves on the back because test scores are up. DUH?? They are teaching to the test now…of course the scores are up.
The reason I titled this blog like that is because that is what I am. Steph had to work tonight so I had to do all the Mom duties including taking G to baseball practice . Now I can’t think of anything more boring for a Grandmother than taking her grandson to baseball practice and sitting there the whole time. I took my Blog book but gave it up after a while with all the talking and interuptions.
He has a wonderful coach who doesn’t watch the clock. Great for the kids but not for Grandma. LOL
Since they are still living with us I often find myself in that Grandmother/Mom role. I can’t be the silly Grandma that I would like to be if he were not here all of the time. I can’t be silly one minute and yelling the next. Not my style.
Maybe once they move it will get a bit better. I will still see him a lot and babysit when Steph works but yet he is not here all of the time and I can get my sense of silly back.
The weather has been near perfect this week. Love it. I was sooooo depressed this past winter and I guess this is the payback.
I watched the elections last night on FoxNews, MSNBC and CNN. I wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on what is going on. I thought Fox was pretty kind to Hillary and Msnbc and Cnn were not as kind or maybe more realistic.
My mouth dropped open when Hillary came out and talked about going on. What is she thinking??? She is behaving like someones crazy aunt who has to be dragged away from uncles coffin because she won’t accept that he is dead. I have this vision in my head and it makes me laugh. What is wrong with her? She seems to be living in some world of her own. Or it is the Clinton world since we had a taste of it when Bill was pres. I guess she will be dragged kicking and screaming from the campaign trail.

There has to be something wrong with someone who runs for any office. They start out seeming to know us and what we are about. We the common folk……
Remember when Bush 1 went to a grocery store and was amazed at how the scanner worked. And who can forget Hillary getting coffee and buying gas for some guy. They don’t have a clue how we live and what we have to do to survive.
Come on down from the Beltway and spend a day with me. I live in a little town in southern Va. I’ll take you to the grocery store and see how much milk , bread and all of the other food have gone up. Then we’ll stop and get gas. It is $3.62 today. Isn’t anyone going to do something about that?
I can show you single Moms trying to make ends meet. I can show you families who can’t heat their homes and can’t feed their kids. I’m lucky to be part of the middle class. We will rearange our money a bit but we will eat. Some fo these families may not.
None of the politicians live in the real word. Come on down. I live in the same state as most of you but we might as well be on a different planet.
I don’t care if Hillary or Obama win. For that matter I’m not happy with McCain either but we need people in there who are REAL people. Not those who only want to line their own pockets. How come they all come out of office rich. How about term limits for Congress? That way they have to go back to the real world and live with the laws they passed.
Oh well!!
Steph and I spent a nice morning “learning” how to make jewelry with Dave’s beads. I say learn since we talked and Anjie made the lovely necklaces ,earrings and bracelets. I have got to get those listed on Dave’s site and get my other jewelry listed on Ebay. I have the pictures taken but don’t seem to find the time to list the items.
Dexter is getting big and boing sillier than you can imagine.The weather is great. Almost perfect the last few days. Love it!
Sharon wants to take the dogs and go to the beach one of these weekends. She even mentioned camping. Not sure about that. Have to think about it. Which dogs to take? Not all of them get along. Have to think about it a while. I have a feeling that she will want to go just about the time Steph will need us to help with her house. Paint , clean and all that stuff. We’ll see!!!

The weather is perfect today…….sunny and 70’s. I took little Gypsy to the vet this morning. She is suffering with allergies around her ears and her body. Her scratching is driving me crazy. I first thought she had fleas but it’s not. None of the other dogs seem to be having any problems.
Emma needs her shots. Will have to do that really soon.
Enough of this test for now.
